My son purchased this car used and only drove it a few months before deciding he would rather have a Honda Civic. This car is fast and fun but does not match the gas mileage of a Civic. It does not burn or use oil, it shifts smoothly through all its gears, and it handles fine, no shakes or pulling. The a/c works. It had three issues when we bought it and it still has them: The stereo remains on all the time and the only stations accessible are through the presets - you cannot turn off the radio and you cannot scan for local stations - you can turn the volume down so there is no sound at all. The sunroof does not work and a fuse will not fix it - it is closed and does not leak. The driver's window only goes up or down with manual assistance - we leave it up and it does not leak - it needs a window regulator that costs $180-$308 (Volvo factory part) plus the cost of installation. All the other windows work fine. The tires are about 70% tread on the front and 90% tread on the rear. It is 10 years old and has the scuffs and scrapes and use of a 10 year old car. We have not smoked in it and it does not smell like the previous owner(s) did either. It can be picked up here (Parthenon, Arkansas) or we will deliver it free within 75 miles of Harrison, Arkansas. The mileage will probably be slightly higher upon pick-up or delivery. It is not being used as a daily driver but we do occasionally start it and drive it.
