My 2000 Grand Marquis runs, rides and drives great. This is the car to have for those long trips. There is a reason there are so many of these and their sister cars, the Crown Vics, on the road. These 4.6 engines have proven themselves over and over again. They are reliable, smooth, powerful and still get great mileage. Each of the front fenders have a ding in them. It was parked under one of those temporary carports and the wind blew it over. I decided to not mess with them as they are not that big of a deal. NADA on this car ranges from 3400.00 for a rough condition trade in to 7050.00 retail in excellent condition. I have this priced at under the rough condition trade and it very clearly is not a rough condition car. These cars typically run dependally for up to 200K miles. They get great gas mileage, at least as well as the much smaller and less safe imports. On my cross country trips it gets 27 to 30 mpg regularly. Around town it gets around 23 to 25. The gas mileage is better than my buddies small Altima and is just as reliable and requires no more maintenance. I feel safer and more confortable in the Grand Marquis than the Altima, by a lot. This car has the following options, PS, PDB, ABS, Traction assist, TW, CC, Climate control AC, P Seats, both left and right, Auto lamps, Alloy wheels, 60 to 70% of tire tread left, AM/FM, PW, PDL's etc. The interior is cloth. It is, and has been, a non smokers car. It has synthetic oil in it and has had only synthetic since I have owned it. I have put about 15K miles on this car but my wife says we just don't use it enough anymore. She is right. It is registered in Alaska however it has never been there. We live in Alaska and use this car as our lower 48 vehicle. We bought it from a family friend a couple of years ago. The car is parked in Sea Tac Washington.
