Vehicle Detail
This super clean 75 scout has been my summer top off driver for several years and now I'm listing it at NO RESERVE!! There is two links posted with tons of pics, well over 130 from top to bottom to give the clearest vision of this trucks condition as i can( but if i missed one let me know and I'll get it posted:) I want this clean binder to go to a good new home as it has been a great trouble free truck for me for several years. I Don't Want Any or disappointment's or surprises for the buyer or for me when they take ownership, so please look and read carefully and ask any and all questions by either email or phone. See links at http://imageshack.us/g/810/img5998l.jpg/ AND http://imageshack.us/g/846/img6023m.jpg/ !! . Sadly I'm letting go one of my favorite scouts go due to some upcoming costs i have to put into my business of keeping these scouts on the road. Hopefully I will have my own website done this summer so i can stop hosting pics on image shack and you guys can see all my past scouts and future projects to come. I purchased this scout a couple years ago because i instantly fell in love with it and it reminded me of my first orange scout II i had in high school. It looked almost just he way you see it except i had a couple things done such as the wheels, upgraded shocks and rebuilt carb, but i only drive it on nice days so you can see by the tire tread i have put very little miles on it. It usually has the top off from march to october. This one was originally from Montana and purchased new at Park Motors in the city of Anaconda. It was a single owner until 95 when it was sold off then it made the move over west here to WA state several years later. It was driven and enjoyed in stock form for several years then it received new paint in factory two colors fire orange and winter white top, the lift and bushwacker flares. Both the previous owner and I kept it in garage and it never has been used for offroad or abused and it's evident by how clean the firewall, engine bay and undercarriage are for being all original. It comes with all original books, manuals, warranty agreement and copy of second title with both previous owners listed. BODY/EXTERIOR- Compete accident free life with all original panels. Really nice and very shinny repaint several years ago of factory colors that is a extreme eye catcher especially in the sun! color matched fender flares from bushwacker, 33" bfg mud terrains with polished 15x10 american racing baja wheels. All glass is original 1975 and in great shape , but form age front windshield has fogging in lower corners. Only a couple body issues to mention on passenger side the is a ding with no paint damage under mirror from football while camping but paintless dent guy said he can pull door panel and fix it and you'll never know( its very hard to see and tried to get a pic and put it in link) the other spot is a little dent and chipping from parking lot accident at very front corner, so bumper was pulled and a custom piece of steel was fabbed up and welded in place and hidden behind factory bumper. There is a little rust but it has looked the same for years, so i didn't put too much concern, It is located on driver rear rocker, driver rear quarter in front of rear tire and both front body mounts having the driver be the worst. I do have new body mount that will come with it that i purchased form super scout. There are some tiny bubbles under paint where passenger side tail cap meets quarter panel which is very coming once the seal pops from the underside. Non of these issues affect it mechanically and really cosmetically don't take away fro the scout it gets a ton of compliments and attention especially in the bright sun with the top off!( I can only get 24 pics on here so in link all rust issues are shown so please take a peek ) INTERIOR- The interior is 100% original and is in incredible shape . All gauges and work along with cigarette lighter and it has a nice sounding stereo system( no cd though) Dash and door panels are in like new condition and seats only show minor wear and tear on driver side where your butt gets planted. Rear mat, side panels and headliner are intact and in good shape also. Windows roll up without catching or any issues, fly windows and doors lock and heater blows strong! Door seals and weather stripping are original and if it will be a year around commuter u might wanna throw a new set in around doors and tailgate. DRIVE-TRAIN- All original drivetrain from top to bottom! Strong 345 2bbl V8, power steering and brakes, auto transmission with dana 44's front with disc brakes and factory limited slip posi 44 rear. brakes have been done and have little miles on them along with fresh tune-up with electronic ignition . 4" skyjacker lift ,rancho 5000 shocks, 33" bfg mud terrain tires. This motor, transmission and differentials have never been opened up except to replace valve cover gaskets and to perform regular maintenance, so it has your expected dirt and grime on the underside from typical little seeps here and there in its 36 years of use but no football sized puddles to wake up to or any major concerns. This scout is a really is a gorgeous old binder and is a nice clean example and i hope it gets driven more then i was able to do NO RESERVE!! So good luck and don't hesitate to call or email with questions :) 425-737-4527 On Jul-26-11 at 13:12:52 PDT, seller added the following information:I just noticed muffler has leak so I'm taking it in tomorrow and having a flowmaster put on and and pipes needing replaced will be
