Vehicle Detail

We got this great little T-Bucket over 7 years ago from an Ebay ad! Car was hand built in New Orleans by a perfectionist! The Mardi Gras theme paint was on it, and we have always had great comments about it! The car was built using a boxed Ford frame, and all other parts were crafted by the builder! The hairpins in front were changed when we got the car, and front brakes were added. All the chrome has held up great--keep in mind the car was built over 20 years ago! The parts were hand crafted, and sent for a plating job that still looks great! Everything in the front including the front axle, inside backing plates, and all engine accessories got the chrome treatment. Also the steering column, rear end housing, and all steering rods! The paint has a few flaws now on the passenger side (pictured), but all in all it still looks good! The body is a fiberglass one, and the black interior is tastefully done in a black vinyl! No doors, just step in!! The motor is excellent, a 350 ci Chevy with a lopey 327/350hp cam. Edelbrock manifold and Holley carb. We put all new Russell steel lines from the tank to carb a couple years ago; also new Holley 110 gph electric pump and regulator! The transmission is a BW 4 speed going to a 55-57 Chevy Posi rear end. Car runs cool on the hottest day, and is fun to drive! We had the front end lined and professionaly sorted out when we got the car, and at that time had the front brakes added for safety. This car is neat looking, but not really something to give to a novice!! It's extremely fast and responsive!! There's nothing that can give you the "kick" like a T-Bucket, light to light! The only reason for selling is to downsize due to my age---time to let someone else enjoy this little honey this summer! Best of luck with this one, you'll enjoy! The winning bidder to pay a non-refundable deposit 24 hours after winning--no exceptions! Please bid to own, not win the auction, and expect to come look and negotiate! If you don't want to own it, don't bid!! Low reserve! Owner reserves right to sell prior to auction end, as car is for sale locally!!
