You are bidding on a 1957 Ford Fairlane 4-Door Sedan. This car is 100% original with the exception of the roof which was repainted because of fading. The special car has 10,573 actual miles and is immaculate in every respect. The engine is the 272ci V-8 that produces 190hp and has a 2-barrel carburetor. It is a very rare model with radio delete and factory 3-speed manual transmission. The interior is in remarkable condition. The glass is free of damage. The Firestone wide whitewalls are like new and still have the rubber nubs on the sidewalls. It comes with the original owners manual and a receipt from a garage in Clinton, New York that inspected the car in 1993, showing the mileage at that time of 9,068. It also has the original spare, wheel and jack in the trunk. The Fairlane has some minor pitting on the front and rear chrome bumpers and the front end has some minor rock chips. The trim piece between the bumper and grill has some minor scratches, but otherwise this cars exterior is as good as it gets for its original condition. This Fairlane starts on the first try and runs incredibly well. The transmission and clutch both function properly and the shifts are smooth and precise. This unique vehicle runs like the day it came off the showroom floor. This car will not disappoint.
