Here is an all original un-restored never taken apart 1968 Honda Z50. Looking at the paint next to the motor mounts you can see that it has never been taken apart. The paint on the bike is all original even the fenders. There are some scuff marks and chips but not many. The paint under the chain is not chipped. The white break levers and grips are in excellent shape. The cables do not have cracks in them. The bike has excellent compression BUT the oil was left in for many years and has turned to sludge! I think the motor needs to be taken apart and cleaned prior to starting it. This will insure you are getting oil to the top end. The gas tank is in excellent condition but there is some light rust in the tank I do not think it needs to be coated just flush it out and use it. The spark plug wrench is still under the seat.
