2003 Chevy Silverado 3500 4x4 Duaramax with the Allison Transmission This is my reliable Silverado. It is for sale only because I bought a new truck and the wife says something has to go. This truck is in good condition and has been well maintained. It currently has 84,792 miles on the odometer and is equipped with the following options: Tilt wheel 4-Wheel drive Dual zone climate control Air Conditioning Am/Fm/CD/Cassette Power Windows & Locks Power mirrors Keyless entry Power Seat Steering wheel controls Rear window defogger Cruise control Motorola Bluetooth for your cell phone B&W Gooseneck hitch Class V regular trailer hitch Ranch Hand grill guard Mud flaps Cloth interior Trailer towing mirrors Pewter color with a gray interior Front mounted Class V hitch Stainless wheel simulators Bedliner Nerf bars This is a good solid truck that has never let me down. The Duramax runs like new and the Allison tranny work perfectly. All options and equipment work well on this truck. The brakes were done all the way around (rotors, pads, calipers, etc.) withing the last 5k miles. The transmision has been serviced regularly including a fluid and filter change within the last 10k miles. The lube in the rear differential has been changed and the engine has been run on Mobil 1 synthetic for the last 30K miles. The fuel filter was just changed as well. Newer Rancho 5000 shocks installed all the way around. Matching Uniroyal tires all the way around that are in great shape - no cheap brand X tires here. As you can see, I relied on this truck and took care of it so it didn't let me down. Now that I have explained all the good things, please remember that this is a used vehicle. It has the usual stone chips, nicks, etc. If you are looking for something that belongs in a museum, this aint it. This truck does look good, but it aint perfect. As you can see in the photos, there are a couple of small spots on the left rear fender where the clear coat is peeling. Being that the fender is plastic, I didn't worry too much about it. There are a few rusty spots on the grill guard, there are some bug and stone chips here and there. Nothing out of the ordinary for a truck that has been used and driven on a daily basis. The interior is clean with no holes, rips or tears. I also have a fiberglass cap (with side windows and a ladder rack) if the winning bidder is interested. This truck has never been wrecked or plowed. I will also include all owners manuls and the factory front winter cover. Please email me with any questions. A number of them have asked about rust. Please remember that this vehicle is from an area where they do salt the roads, therefore, the underside does not look like something from Arizona. With that said, there are no holes or anything in the floor, the frame is solid, the bottoms of the doors are clean. I understand everyone's concern with rust. I have lived in this area for a long time and know the impotance of hosing down an undercarriage, but that can only do so much. As I have reported to several people, the only issue of any kind that I have had with anything under the truck is one brake line that developed a leak while on vacation. Had this replaced and that has been it. Remember this truck is now about 9 years old and has been used, but not abused.On Jul-22-11 at 16:07:01 PDT, seller added the following information: I have received several more questions about the truck and what the report shows about the tile. I have no idea where this information comes from, but rest assured, I do hold a totally clear title in my name. There are no liens of any kind on this vehicle. I have been asked about the motor and tranny and about any modifications. Both the motor and the transmission are bone stock and have never been apart. With proper maintenance there has been no need to have anything done! There have been no programmers or other modifications ever on this truck. Regular oil and filter changes are the only work done to the engine and tranny. I think 2 years ago the A/C wasn't as cold as I like it, so the local shop added 1/4 pound of freon. The batteries (Diehard) are newer. Get the idea guys? I didn't try to fix things that weren't broken. If it needed attentions, I did what what necessary. Right now the bidding is about 4-5 thousand below Kelly Blue Book. I priced it to sell so I don't have to relist it. Time is valuable.
