Up for Auction is a 1999 Ford F350 with the 7.3 powerstroke diesel. This is a no reserve auction. You are bidding to BUY, not to come and inspect and make your decision. This truck books for over $9900. I am starting the truck low with no reserve as this truck needs a new home. This truck WILL sell to the highest bidder regardless of price. The truck needs some TLC. It for sure needs glow plugs and injector seals. I have those parts and will go with the truck. I take this truck out of town on a regular basis, but has been giving me trouble as of late. I' don't know squat about diesels, so I have limited ability to diagnose the problems it has. If you look up completed listings, you will find that I had this truck for sale at a higher price last week. I was having some problems with a dirty fuel filter and a no start situation. I changed the fuel filter and installed a new starter and got the truck running. It was running pretty darn good after that until today. Now today it started losing power and smoking. I don't know if it has to do with a dirty tank filter, fuel pump pressure or what is going on with it, but it barely wants to run. It WILL start and run, but has now power and smokes. I have heard that this is what happens when the turbo goes bad, so maybe it is that. WHATEVER it is, I am DONE messing with this truck. I am selling it as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. Prospective buyers are welcome to inspect truck anytime before the auction ends. If you win the auction, you will be expected to send a $500 non refundable deposit through paypal within 24 hours of auctions end. If deposit is not received within that period, the sale is void and will be offered for sale elsewhere. I will need the rest in the form of CASH at the time of pickup. The title is clear. The truck has a reese receiver hitch AND a gooseneck ball in the bed. the a/c works. but is not very cold. No problems with the starting and charging systems. no electrical issues. I have installed a new cam position sensor and new starter and decent tires on the rear in the last 3 months. It does need brake pads all the way around. the front tires arent the best, but not bald. The interior has no rear seat. the front seat has a tear on each side at the seams. The seat is vinyl. AM/FM RADIO only. Has the work mat floor. This has been a work truck, so the interior isn't for the faint of heart. Body wise the front drivers fender is dented up and the passenger rear rocker area has a large dent. The grill is cracked. All the lights work properly. All the glass is good. The transmission seems to work ok. I've noticed that if you're driving in town and the overdrive switch is on that it lugs unless you hit the overdrive to off. I don't know if this is normal or not. as long as its off in town it will drive normally. Switch it to on when on the interstate and it works fine as well. I don't know if this is one of Ford's better ideas or what. Any other questions you need to ask, please do so and I will get back to you. I also heard the turbo spool up, so I don't think it is a turbo issue.
