Rare BMW 12 cylinder, last and best year for this body style. I have pampered this vehicle for the past 4 years adding almost 70k miles in what many consider to be the best sedan of its time. Mechanically this BMW runs flawlessly, there are no check engine lights or issues. Tires are due for a change and then brake service after that. Oil has just been changed. I bought the vehicle with 97k on the odometer. At the time I got the 100k service performed: new plugs, o2 sensors, all filters (air, cabin, fuel), and also had belts, ider arms and tensioner pullies changed. I also had the entire suspension replaced which entailed replacing all bushings and control arms f/r (vehicle drives with no shimmies) and I also had differential fluid changed as a precaution. New water cooled alternator at 148k. At 150k the torque converter was replaced so transmission fluid and filter were changed at that time. Vehicle has dual batteries whSince then there have been no issues. This BMW has proven to be a very reliable vehicle only requiring routine synthetic oil changes every 7.5k miles. Everything works except the glove compartment lock and nozzle to clean the headlights. Spare tire is flat. All seats are powered and heated, the front have massage function and the rears have limited recline and bolster adjustment making for a very comfortable accommodation. Another neat feature is EDC which is electronic damping control, this allows you to adjust the suspension to a firmer sport setting when called for. The transmission likewise has a sport setting or a manual steptronic mode. Self leveling xenon headlights combined with fog lamps make night driving a breeze. Self leveling hydraulic suspension makes for a smooth ride even when loaded. There are also no dead pixels in the dashboard. Two keys (one original and one valet with blank remote) and original manuals included. Navigation CD's are original northeast CD and a copy of southwest. Trunk has full netting and tie downs.
