Up for auction is this nice 1976 Thunderbird with 50,481 original miles. The paint combination is the original rare cream and gold. The car has gold and white leather seats. The features of this car are 460 CED engine/solid state ignition, select shift cruise-o-matic transmission, power steering/front disc brakes, vinyl roof with opera windows, selectaire air conditioning, left hand remote control mirror, am radio/color-keyed deluxe belts, front and rear bumper guards and rub strips. Overall the car is in excellent condition but unfortunately had a run-in with a large buck who chose to jump right in front of the car. Deer dead, car front damaged. The damage is only to the fiberglass front of the car. No damage to the inside motor compartment. The Thunderbird hood ornament is fine and the Thunderbird letters are still there and undamaged. The paint job is still very good but there is some rust on the fenders as shown in the pictures and a few tiny paint nicks here and there. The gold vinyl roof is in bad condition and would have to be replaced.The inside of the car is in excellent condition and very sharp looking The 8 track tape player works great and 8 tapes are included with the car. The upholstery is in excellent condition with no tears. Just some surface crazing particularly on the driver's seat. The dashboard is in excellent condition as is the inside of all the doors. The gold shag rug in the car is original and looks good. Best of all, this car runs like a top. You can drive it anywhere. Very smooth ride. No problems with starting it. We have the original owner's manual which is in like new condition and also lots of service records for this car.
