We're selling our beloved Maxima which has been in the family for seven years now. We love this car and have treated it with great care both from a preventive maintenance perspective and the way it's been driven. Currently it's sitting on less than one year old: tires, brakes, exhaust- with a battery and alternator both less than two years old. these are the most major items which the car has ever needed in the 100k miles we've put on it. I wish I could say that about my Cadillac!! What else can be said....it's a Maxima with one of the most reliable engines that any manufacturer has ever produced. The black leather looks nearly new in the front, the back left seat had something catch on it during moving some stuff. The AC blows ice cold and the seat heaters work perfectly. The power sunroof works very well along with the cruise control. It also has power seats for the driver and passenger in the front...i'd almost forgotten how loaded this car was since my son has been driving it for so long! I've attempted to put up photos of every imperfection on the car but I may have missed a couple. The color makes a few of them nearly undetectable until your eight feet away or closer. Overall, the car still looks really good for it's age. The couple of regrets which I have is not replacing the rear spoiler that a tree limb/storm took out in a 2008 storm. The other is letting my son replace the factory Bose deck with a Sony deck. It's nice & sounds great but I liked the look of the original equipment better (he sold the OEM Bose deck). In the last couple of months, the Air Bag light has been blinking on and off constantly. I assure you, it's not had an air bag deployed since we've owned it and I'm betting it's a sensor gone bad. I'll have my mechanic run a diagnostics test on it this week to see if it's a sensor or something else. It doesn't effect the way the car runs at all. Our only reason for selling it is that my son is now a Marine and is stationed in Florida. He's waiting for me to sell it so that he can locate a nice used G35 or G37 Nissan and use the funds for a down payment. This car has been, and will be a fine automobile for a long time to come.
