This ia a 1995 BMW R1100RSL. I have owned it since April 2007. The RSL edition was only sold in the US for a couple of years. The "L" designation is the lower fairing that was the standard on the European RS models. The RSL is a great Sport Tourer, more so, in my opinion, than the RT. It can be loaded up with everything that is needed for an extended trip, which I have done twice and still perform like a sport bike. I have babied this bike. It has been well maintained. All service items have been taken care of in a timely manner. The bike has both side cases and a top case plus a BMW tank bag specifically for this model. There is a Bagster tank cover that the tank bag attaches to. The tank bag has a Powerlet socket added allowing such things as a cell phone to be charged on the road. The bike is in great condition and will take you across the country if you so desire. I have no reserve on this auction so will sell at the close.
