You are bidding on a very nice U.S. Government owned and serviced 1997 GMC 3500 SL crew cab 4x4 dually with a Stahl brand utility bed and Tommy Gate lift gate on it. This truck is powered by the long lasting 6.5 liter turbo diesel engine and automatic transmission. It has only 95,901 miles on it.
Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below to see the entire report for free). PLEASE LOOK AT THE 70 PLUS PICTURES I HAVE POSTED ABOVE (HINT: IF YOU CLICK ON ONE OF THE LITTLE PICTURES, IT WILL REPLACE THE LARGER PICTURE. JUST SCROLL BACK UP TO SEE IT). This truck spent it's life in sunny California so has NO RUST on it. The paint on the cab is still shiny and bright but does have some scratches and chips as you can see in the pictures. The cab is straight with only a few dings to be found on it. The bed is also in great shape with only minor scrapes and scratches and dings on it. The doors all lock and I have the keys for the compartments. The Tommy Gate brand lift gate works perfectly. The tops of the bed, interior and lift have all been covered with spray-in style bedliner material. The truck has a Warren RE-1200 1200# winch on it and a Warren heavy-duty front bumper and brush guard on it. The winch works perfectly. The interior of the truck is in great shape with no holes or tears in vinyl bench seats or rubber flooring. The truck appears to have not been smoked in . The interior shows very little wear at all. The tires have about 80% tread left on them and are wearing evenly and smoothly.
This truck has been cared for and serviced by the U.S. Government it's entire life and it shows. I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. THIS TRUCK NEEDED VIRTUALLY NOTHING AT ALL. It has NO leaks or drips, does NOT smoke and shifts out smoothly and solidly. The manual transfer case shifts in and out of 4 wheel-drive with no issues. The truck drives 70 mph on the freeway with no shimmies or shakes. The a/c is ice cold and the heater is warm and toasty. This truck has no known issues. IT IS READY TO BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE AND BE PUT RIGHT TO WORK. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST.
