Up for auction is my 1971 Dodge Challenger Convertible. This is a beautiful example of American muscle and beauty. In the late 1980's this car won multiple car show trophies and awards in this local area. This is a true 71 convertible, one of just over 1700 built and one of around 83 built with these options. This information was given to me by the previous owner, I have not done any number crunching personally. The title is a free and clear Ohio title and is in hand. All numbers match between car, engine, title, vin, and fender tags. This car has 2 fender tags because all the options wouldn't fit on one. The tag info is as follows.... Line 1- J25 M28 P37 R11 V5X EN2 Line 2- V3X U A04 C16 C55 G33 Line 3- GF3 H6F7 000 903 008612 Line 4- E44 D31 JH27 G1B 127202 The second tag is very difficult to read, I can only make out what looks to be 4-47. The convertible top is power and works excellent. The parade boot is newer and very nice. I purchased this car from a gentlemen who has owned it the past 21 years. It has been in inside dry storage the entire time. The underside of this Challenger is probably the nicest I have EVER seen under a used Mopar. There are zero issues and nothing needs repaired underneath. As you can see in the pics, the paint is non original and probably will need redone at some point. The car will need rust repair in front of both back tires on the lower quarters. The factory original 318 engine runs excellent and this car can be driven home. It has the optional Ralley Dash and Slap Stick shifter. A few items needing looked into are the tach and clock don't work and the oil pressure needle is broke. I have personally driven this car at distances over 50 miles on several occasions in the past month and it is a joy, to say the least. If you have any questions, you can reach me at 937-935-6178.
