This is a beautiful 1978 International Scout II Rallye. Rust free dry California/New Mexico scout. 1 owner, 92,000 documented original miles. I have the original owners personal maintenance log. It was purchased new by the original owner in San Jose California where it lived most of its life then moved to New Mexico where it was for the last 5 years. Its never been beat up or abused. No bad weather or salty roads ever! The body and paint are stunning! Arrow straight with no dents, dings, or rust. No so much as a paint chip! Its had one very high quality 2 stage repaint in its life to the original color. Everything was taken off and it was done right. The undercarriage is very dry and completely rust free. No rust, no scaling, no undercoating gunk, no rhino lining just nice dry and original. The interior is all new and looks outstanding! Seats recovered in soft side leather/vinyl. Looks and feels exactly like leather but wears much better and last longer. New carpet. Dash is perfect. one small crack in the headliner. Original working Am radio. windows roll up and down nicely and everything works as it should. 4x4 works good. Runs and drives great! The original 345 v8 start right up and settles into a nice smooth idle. No smoke, leaks, or funny noises, no overheating. Automatic transmission shifts smooth. Brakes are good. Steering is tight. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Factory Ac (blows but not cold) All in all one of the nicest Scout II's available on the market today. Constantly gets compliments everywhere I go.
