This is a amazing 1972 International Scout II 1 owner, 85,000 original miles, Always garaged and carefully maintained. I bought this Scout last year form the original elderly owner. It was 100% rust free, dry, Life long California truck. Still retains both of its original blue and yellow California license plates. She's never seen a a day of foul weather or salty road in her life. None of the typical rust issues that are associated with these vehicles. If you're tired of looking at beat up, lifted, rusted out pieces of junk this is the Scout for you. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer, more rust free example anywhere! The body and paint are flawless! Laser straight with and xlnt finish. Its had one very high quality repaint to the original color. Two stage base coat clear coat wet sanded and buffed to a glass like finish. No dents, No dings, No rust, not so much as a stone chip! Everything was taken apart and the windshield was removed. It was done right! The undercarriage is also completely rust free! No undercoating gunk, no rhino lining, no patching, no scaling, just nice dry and original. The .interior is beautiful! New correct style carpet, I had the seats redone in soft side vinyl. Looks and feels just like leather but wears and lasts much longer. Still has the factory rubber mat in the back. Original Am radio that still works. The truck runs and drives great! Starts right up and settles into a nice smooth idle. No smoke, no leaks, no funny noises, no over heating. Original 345 V8,3 spd Automatic transmission. Factory AC (blows but not cold) I just had the carburetor rebuilt. All of the 4x4 works fine. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere! Windows roll up and down properly. This is one of the definitely one of the nicest Scouts available on Ebay today and will make somebody very happy.
