You are bidding on a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe. It has the orginal 289 and automatic transmission. It is painted in Wimbledon white with red interior. The odometer reads 13586 which I am very sure is 113586. I purchased the car last year locally from a man who is the second owner in family. His father purchased the car in 1971 from the original owner here in the Northwest. The car is in very good shape and does not need much to make it a show car. The car runs and drives great. The interior is immaculate. The glass great along with the chrome. The engine is very responsive and the car has been parked in my garage since last year. This car does not leak and starts right up and idles well. I am forced to sell and wish I could keep it. The car will sell with a bid. There is no "buy-it-now" price, please bid with intent to own. There are a few items I need to note. First, I have added the GT exhaust system (duals with trumpets) and have retained the stock valance that will be included with the sale. The back window shelf has two speakers that were added by the previous owners son. There is a red covering that lies over the back shelf. To power the speakers (you guessed it) the son also added a stereo. The dad thought it might be good (while the son is out cruising and listening to music) to add regular shoulder seat belts. He did a good job with installing them however I think they look ridiculous...The paint job is less than 3 years old and there are a few minor dings along each side. I had a local body shop look at the car and his impression was that a rotary paint job was completed at some point to high standards. The engine compartment is good shape as well and there are chrome valve covers. I have the original owners manual with matching Registered Owner Plan. The car comes with a few extra hubcaps however not a matching set, two boxes of misc parts, and the before mentioned rear stock valance. The gas gauge does not work. The driver side rear view mirror needs to be worked on. Please bid with confidence. Now time for the fun stuff: This is car is 46 years old. It is gorgeous but not new. It is being sold on as-is basis. There are no warranties expressed or implied. Any inspection is welcome only BEFORE the end of the auction. The Title of this car is clear and ready to be transferred. The pictures are of its current condition, they were taken yesterday. $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal is due within 24 hours after the end of the auction, the balance (cash, bank check, wire transfer) is due within 7 days. Vehicle will then be released. If deposit is not done in 24 hours the car will simply be offered to the next person in line as a second chance offer and negative feedback will be given regardless of retaliation.
