1971 - Mercedes-Benz - 280SL This classic roadster was purchased by my father-in-law for my wife 11 years ago and it is time for us to part with it. When purchased, the car had 111,000 miles. Approximately 5 years ago, the engine was rebuilt and the car currently has 121,000 miles. The car runs well and the transmission is in good condition. The car was purchased from a private seller and prior to that all we know is that it came from Oklahoma. We do not know how many owners are in its history. The car has both a soft and hard top. The soft top has one small hole.The radio is the factory original.Two small spots of rust, one under each headlight, can be seen in the pictures.All the chrome is present.The dash and seats are in good condition, the car does need new carpet.Overall, the car is in good shape and can be driven as is, but with some work, this car could be a treasure.
