Vehicle Detail

2 Owner 1990 Honda Civic Hatchback DX. 5 speed manual transmission. This car has been very reliable to me for the past several years since I purchased from the original owner. I've done brakes and rotors, rear drum brakes too, new radiator, most of the exhaust system is new, changed oil regularly. I have all receipts since new (from previous owner). I've used to commute to work 21 miles each way and have gotten anywhere from 37-45 mpg depending on how driven. Interior is an really nice shape, outside is pretty good-couple dings and rust spots shown in pics. I did recently put wheels and tires from my Si on this vehicle (14 inch, decent tread) and notice that there is some vibration around 60 mph so they probably need balancing. I also swapped the trunk lid from the Si to this vehicle- there is some rust underneath the handle where it opens, so this IS NOT AN Si, just the trunk lid from one. I also noticed a small gas drip from the seam on the rear of the tank last summer so I ordered a new gas tank but never got around to installing. I've just been putting a half tank and there is no leak then, but the new tank is included. I planned to keep this car forever, but recently bought an Si that I've been looking for for a while, and just have too many vehicles now and not really driving this anymore. **recently, after sitting for a while, the car has become hard to shift. I had the oil in tranny changed, linkage lubed, and there is no difference. I suspect it needs a clutch- you can hear the throwout bearing when clutch is released. Maybe the clutch is not releasing all the way, resulting in the hard shifting. Pretty sure its the original clutch. New one is around $110. So, I've lowered the price due to the couple issues, but its still a straight, clean car, very good interior. Great to fix (parts are CHEAP for this car) especially if you can do it yourself, or if youre looking for a nice hatchback shell to put a stronger engine in. TERMS- $200 deposit thru paypal within 24 hours of auction end, balance cash at pickup within 7 days- car is relisted due to last person apparently not having any cash- so please only make an offer if you are serious about buying the car- email any questions
