Tires are almost new, (less than 500 miles on them), recent oil change & tune up, ready to ride home. It gets approx. 55 mpg. No rips, tears, or stains on seat (see pix). Body and detachable bags very good condition, with minor scratches, conducive to the age. (See pix) Shaft drive, water-cooled. All lights work, i.e., headlamps, fog lights, turn signals, brake lights. All gauges work. Speedometer and tach are full color, no fading. Shifts smoothly through all gears. No bluing on pipes, and minimal shoe sole transfer, probably from putting down the sidestand/kickstand. Bike is fitted with front crash bars. The rear crash bars surround the easily detachable rear saddlebags. These are the best type of bags when you want to protect your belongings. Check in to your hotel, detach your bags, and you're set! The windshield on the full frame-mounted fairing has a unique etched mountain scene on the bottom half, but it doesn't effect your vision. There are 8 hand painted scenes total on this awesome bike. YOU WILL NEVER FIND ANOTHER BIKE LIKE THIS ONE! You would be hard pressed to find a 1982 that has been this well maintained.
