For Sale is a 1950 Dodge Truck that was originally a 1 1/2 ton Dump Truck. I purchased it with the intention of restoring it but just have not accomplished the task and I need to move on to other priorities. The truck's history prior to my purchase was that it was a working truck for over 20 years on the Waterbury, CT golf course. The truck was then purchased by a young teen living in Mount Kisko, NY. He removed the dumper portion of the truck and disassembled many of the exterior parts (that I still have included in this sale). When I purchased the vehicle in November 2005, I had it towed to a mechanic who specialized in classic cars. He was able to tune the engine and update fresh set of points, condenser and plugs. He also performed some brake work and I was able to drive the truck 25 miles to my home. This was in November 2005. I have purchased replacement parts for hoses, battery cables, etc....but have not installed them. Unfortunately, all I have accomplished since that time is to buy some additional parts....nothing else. I purchased another toy (a motorcycle) and the deal with my wife was that I would sell my truck) . :-( I have taken as many pictures that I though necessary but feel free to send a question if you want any more specifics. All of the parts & manuals displayed are part of this auction. I have no idea regarding mileage...but the truck is over 60 years old....so you can guess on your own! ***** I am NOT OFFERING any delivery for this vehicle or auction.
