1992 Cadillac was bought in 1997. I am the second owner. Car was used as a business car for long distance driving and for hauling the family pop-up tent trailer. It had 32,000 miles when I bought it and it now has around 115,000 miles. It gets about 24 mpg if you travel 60 mph. It's in excellent condition. Never had any engine and transmission issues. Never have to add oils between changes.Engine is 5.0 L. Always changed the oil at 3000 miles, even on highway miles. Trans oil been changed once. Brake oil was changed out to DOT 5.Brakes had been done in the last two years among other major maintenance items. Do have maintenance book since I had the car so everything is documented with dates and mileages. It does have a towing hitch for up to 5000 lbs with up to 500 lbs tongue weight. 4 wire plug. Car has always been garaged in closed doors when not in use. Never used as an everyday car. The last 9 years was only driven 3 times a year. The last time car was on the road was December 2010. NO RUSTWindows were tented in the state of Florida.I did install engine gauges under center dash to help me see what the engine and trans are doing while towing. Car is a non-smoker car. No one ever smoked inside!!Did get a $750 radio/CD install in it about 7 years ago. Upgraded 4 speakers with power amp. Sound very nice and clear. All works well.There isn't a lot more to talk about. I will say there are just a few minor issues with the car which I will state below:--Car was bumped in the right rear lower quarter panel about 7 years ago. Fixed by body shop and you can't even tell it. I think it was around $1500 damage. Was handled by the insurance firm.--Right front passenger seat, the switch to reclines to back portion of the seat grunts to operate as if something is locked tight. Switch works, but motor tries. Up, down and front to back switches work fine. Just can't lean back and go to sleep in it, that's all.--Windshield washer motor on the wiper motor doesn't work. I replaced the entire wiper motor from a parts car and ever since then it doesn't work. So there isn't anything wrong else where. It's the pump on the wiper motor itself.Car is ready to travel ANYWHERE in North America. Come in by plane, drive home in a nice air conditioned car. Comes with a full tank of gas, 24 gallons worth! Just that car is usually off road so when it's off the road it's NOT going to be inspected at the month of the year it is scheduled. Maybe that's what it means?? Engine light or other lights of the engine never have been on.
