Vehicle Detail

1970 Barracuda BH23NOB114617 original 4 speed car with no motor or transmission. I had it as a hemicuda clone with a 5 speed. This car was restored about ten years ago and I striped it to bare metal replaced entire trunk floor and welded in 3x2 subframe connectors, hemi torque boxes, rear super stock springs were moved inboard 1 inch on a Dana 60 with 4.10 gears . Driveshaft loop. Both rear quarters were replaced by the previous owner. As far as I can tell except for the hood and aforementioned sheet metal the rest of the sheet metal is original to the car. Car has a hemi K-member in it but comes with the original. Front slotted disc and 2.5x11 rear drum brakes with line lock for the front. 1 inch front and rear sway bar (rear is uninstalled), all lines hoses and cables have been replaced over the course of my ownership. Steering box was a new custom unit I installed and is I think 16 turns lock to lock. I replaced all steering and suspension parts including tubular upper A-arms that give more caster and boxed the lower. There are two sets of rims and tires, the ones you see in the pictures and stock rallies with two additional 10 inch wide rear rallies. 2 of the stock rallies don’t have tires on them A set of custom stock gauges (240 mph speedo, 10,000 tach with a 8000 redline, quartz clock, volt meter and other gauges reworked and all silkscreened to look stock. Shift light in dash brake light. The car has A/C hidden so it looks like a non A/C car. Carpet and seat covers were replaced and are still in good shape. There is a 70 center console that comes with the car. Rear window louvers had bracing welded in to strengthen it (it will hold up to 180mph). All weather stripping has been replaced. Both bumpers are year one reproductions. Front and rear wiring harnesses are reproduction. MSD 6AL is in the dash, battery box is in the trunk. Two hoods, one flat that needs painting and a fiberglass shaker with all shaker parts for 2x4 barrel. Car has a Georgia title. The bad. This car has been sitting mostly undriven since 2007 and I am sure there are some things that will need to be replaced when it hits the road again. There are rust blisters at the bottom of both rear quarters in front of tires and around left side of trunk channel. The paint is not show quality and it has a few small dings (I drove this car everywhere). The windshield has a crack. In short this car was built to be a driver and it was driven often and as such has chips and dings. See the motor in my other auction. Call if you have any questions. 302-752-8901
