Vehicle Detail
I have a 1979 Chevy Camaro Z28 for sale. Has a 350 V8 bored .30 over, I had it bored out and I rebuilt the rest from top to bottom myself approximately 18,000 miles ago, yes I know what I'm doing and yes it was all done correctly, I will even have it checked out by a mechanic if the potential buyer needs me to. The odometer reads 97,933 miles. Has a 650 Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock intake, 3.73 posi rearend, traction bars, t-tops that DO NOT leak and are not cracked at all, electric windows that work, dual flowmaster exhaust, headers. Clearcoat is peeling off of the hood, overall the paint isn't bad but I had plans to have it repainted someday but will not be able to anytime soon. Runs fine and drives however the rearend needs work, if somebody is SERIOUSLY for sure interested in it I might be willing to fix it, it's a fairly easy fix though. Needs minor body work, holes in front of rear tires, nothing major. Needs a headliner and the carpet needs cleaned or replaced. Carpet is fairly inexpensive. Overall this Camaro is in decent shape, not showroom condition but will get you to where you need to go and it will do it in a hurry if you need to. I made a list of everything it needs and it all adds up to between $350 and $600 (depends on what a persons preferences are), sheetmetal is not included in my parts cost because it varies so much. I also have a list of where these items can be found. Here is a list of the things it will need: Carpet w/console: $140-$170, Left hand air vent: $10-$25, Drivers side floor pan: $60-$100, Glove box liner: $25-$30, Lower grill insert: $85 New with free shipping (found on ebay), Door sill scuff (optional, not in bad shape but not perfect): $50-$70 and thats for both sides. Plus sheetmetal for the holes located in front of the back wheels. Due to medical expenses I will not be able to finish it and I'm hoping it will go to a good home, someone who will appreciate what it is. A lot of time and elbow grease has been put into this Camaro. I have never shipped a vehicle before and I'm really not sure how it works so it would have to be picked up here in Kansas or the buyer can set up shipping arrangements. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about this Camaro, I can also send additional photo's via e-mail or cell phone, I can also send a video of it running if needed!
