Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 2006 Suzuki SV1000S which I bought as a new leftover in March 2008. I am selling it because I am trying to pay off some bills. The bike itself is paid off and title in hand. It has always been garage kept, and very well taken care of. I have changed the oil every 2000 miles or every season (which ever came first) with Mobil1 type 4. Also, I have lubed the chain every few rides with BlueLine chain lube. I have waxed it twice a year with meguiars 3 stage system. It has a very low mileage Pilot Road 2CT tire on the back, and a Pilot Power with about 1500 miles left on it up front. It has never been in an accident, and has no insurance claims against it. I have all service records and receipts. Mods include: PowerCommanderIII USB SpeedoHealer V4 GIPro Gear indicator / auto TRE 1/5 turn throttle tube. Puig smoke double bubble wind screen Flush mount turn signals, Competition Werkes fender eliminator Frame sliders and swingarm spools +4 degree timing key 16 tooth DID front sprocket (17t stock sprocket included) velocity stacks NGK IX Iridium Spark plugs at 6000 miles BMC air filter 10mm Delrin tank risers Angle can mod Galfer black/gold braided brake and clutch lines Cox racing radiator guard New battery installed in March 2011 Custom painted black trim pieces and rear peg mounts. I think I have forgotten a few things, but that covers most of it. This bike has been adult owned and ridden only, and has been very tastefully modded. The few mods that have been done engine wise have really opened the engine up, and it will leave ANY 600 in it's dust. They will be shifting gears and pegging the gas trying to keep up with this bike while it stays in one gear. It is very fun to ride with all the 1000cc Vtwin torque. I am guessing this bike makes close to 120hp and 75 ft/lb torque at the rear wheel. I am also including a jacket, gloves, and a helmet if you require these things. Bike includes a nice condition Guardian bike cover and two sets of keys, and all records. Flush mount seat cowl with handle elim, also includes seat/handle (as seen in picture) In 2006 Suzuki gave the SV1000 a lighter flywheel, bigger throttle bodies, different cam profiles, and raised the compression ratio 11.3:1 to 11.6:1. This makes for a faster and more responsive bike. Also, 2006 was the lightest weight bike in the SV1000 range.
