Up for auction is this 1 OWNER, Purl-Black Passat with the notorious, powerful 1.8 Turbo. It's a 5-speed and let me tell you, she's in great condition in and out. We just now installed a brand new OEM shift boot and knob, in leather. The Passat's paint is all original, despite some very minor dings and a few scratches, the paint is a 9 out of 10. The interior is very clean. She belonged to a middle age couple who purchased two new Volkswagens. They are the original owners of the car. Look at the photos and ask any question you might have, I'll be happy to answer in great detail. A new temperature switch and tensioner pulley for the compressor will be installed next week, well before the end of auction. I noticed the temp gauge off and on not working. Common item and no trouble at all. The idler/tensioner pulley for the compressor is a little noisy, previous owner assured me it's been noisy for some time and hasn't got worse. The Passat does have a CD changer in the trunk. The spare wheel, has never been used and is in new condition. Board tools are with the vehicle. Brand new synthetic oil, filter, air filter and cabin filter. Timing belt and water pump were replaced at 70,000 miles. The drivers door lock does not work, the key turns in the lock but does not activate the central locking system. However locking the vehicle from the passenger door works fine. Just for the record our C-class was a one of a kind, custom 5-speed, the only one in North America of that kind. Now they don't even reply to my request to cancel, so that I can get a listing refund from ebay.
