Vehicle Detail
2006 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 4x4 Cummins Turbo Diesel. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This is a beautiful truck and ready to make someone a great reliable truck. All body, drive train and interior are original. We have pictures from when we received the truck and will be glad to review them with you when you stop in for a test drive. Most repairs are preformed here at our facility. One of our ASE certified mechanics will be glad to show you the repairs we made to this vehicle. All our repairs are covered for an additional 12 months beyond the standard 30 day all systems warrantyApparently the original owner was off roading when he tried to pass through a stream or creek. When the water went through the radiator it got in the TIPM module and ruined it. The interior never had any signs of water being present. We replaced the TIPM module and the truck started and ran good. Since then we have changed the fluid in both differentials, the transmission and the engine as well as the fuel and all other filters. Their were no signs of water in the tranny or engine. The differentials were a little chocolate colored but seem to be working perfectly. We got the truck with 78K miles on it and have personally put over 4,000 miles on it with no problems. When we did the initial check up we had to put on a new set of rear brakes, a new steering dampener, and shifter cable. The trip computer was reset when we disconnected the battery a couple months ago but since that date it is indicating that we are averaging 20.2 miles to the gallon. About 1/3 of this has been spent towing our one car trailer. This truck does not have the original exhaust system. It has been replaced from the turbo back with a larger diameter pipe. In addition I believe but I am not positive that it has 50+ injectors in it. I have no way of knowing this for sure with out taking them out and checking but when comparing this with other Cummins trucks we have had it seems to get better fuel economy and to have slightly more power.
