This is a great chance to own a timeless piece of american history. There are fewer and fewer of these older body style wagoneers around and you can't beat the classy lines of this beast. Pure beauty. This 1977 AMC Jeep Wagoneer is in good condition for it's age and I will attempt to accurately describe it to you. The vehicle is solid, no rot in the frame and very little rust on the underside. There is a spot on the left rear quarter panel just behind the wheel that is rusted through and also a spot on the right rear Q panel that has been coated with some sort of sealer, but appears to be solid (both pictured) There is also a little spot in the front left bumper area that is rusted. All the rusted areas are easy to deal with if you wanted to (there are many listings for wagoneer rear quarter panels and the bumper piece to replace, I have just checked). Other than that there is just little spots of surface rust here and there, but no other real rust. There thing is SURPRISINGLY solid for the age and fact that it's a michigan vehicle. There is a trim piece missing, but all the chrome is shiny, the rack is in good condition, all doors, windows, electronics, radio, blinkers lights, etc. work as they should. The heat works. The aircon blows, but not very cold (don't know what the issue is). The engine and interior are the definite strong points of this baby. The engine is very clean. The thing fires right up and drives great (I LOVE the sound of this beast). I drove it 2 hours just recently and she ran like a top at 70mph no problem. You can drive this car as-is with no problem. As she warmed up she sounded a little rougher, but still runs great and has never given me problems. All the seats and front carpet looks great. No cracks in the dash. The rear cargo area is not as nice as the seating area, but is not terrible. The headliner will need to be tacked up a bit, but it's not bad. I'll be honest. This thing is sweet. I've always wanted one. I'm selling it because I'm moving out to california, but if it doesn't sell I'm just gonna tow my other car out there with this bad boy and fix her up like new and use it as a surf wagon. It won't take much.
