1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible Vintage Autohaus and Imports presents this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible. This nicely restored vehicle while being transported to our location in Amarillo TX was involved in a near accident in the Houston TX Area. The vehicle came off its safety straps inside the carrier’s truck causing damage to the vehicle. Although we are in the process of settling the claim with the carrier, we have decided to market and sell the vehicle to establish its current value. The vehicle has damage to the front end as well as the rear end of the car. The vehicle has specific damage to : Front bumper, bumper face bars, bumper bolts, license bezels, license brackets, front bumper guards, frt upper T-bar, frt bumper upper ends, frt upper arms and braces, frt grill, LT fender panel, LT park lamp assembly, LT fender side molding, rear bumper, rear bumper guards, bolts and brackets, rear tail lights and chrome bezels. The convertible top frame assembly was bent as well as the driver’s seat. All the door gaps will need to be realigned. The frame does not appear to have any damage. Vintage Autohaus does not guarantee that this all of the repair work needed, so please look at pictures carefully or send an inspector. As you can tell, this vehicle was very nicely restored car before the accident. The Bel Air runs and drives and has a 265 V8, automatic transmission, power top, correct nice interior, nice chrome and stainless, and very solid floor pans and rockers with no rust.
