This is a very nice merceds benz 220s. Manual with air. This car had been total restored in north carolina and has been owned and kept by a private in wilmette illinois.The interior is very nice, seat, carpet, head liner and dash. Al instruments work.The engine , manual transmission is very strong. Its a good daily driver as well as a weekend show car.The clutch gets hard after very long drives, i have been told it needsa spring adjustment.Please call me for showing, a mechanics check or etc 847-328-3540 thanks. On Jun-29-11 at 21:04:06 PDT, seller added the following information: there is no aircondition on this car please note.On Jun-30-11 at 19:41:12 PDT, seller added the following information: please note that this is not a showroom car. there are some surface rust under the paint in driver side fender, and rear passenger fender. the molding under the doors are not original and are plastic after market. the car is sold as is. radio is original but does not work, the radio casset plsyer in glove compartment works. the title is 1959. the odometer says 4968 the car is over 50 years old who knows. The odometer is five disgits. so i do not know the actual mileage. it was purchased in 2003 from north carolina and has had new clutch and bearings and brakes installed and driven over 1000 miles.The chrome is not perfect but its in fair condition. please call me for more info. i could not spot any rust undercarriage but i will try to post more pictures.
