One owner. bought new in 1986 here in Charlotte, NC. and here ever since. NO RUST. Never been in a "serious" wreck. (I'll get to that later) Has around 141,000 miles. 100,000 of that were all highway miles. Has power steering and A/C which all works well. Never had an issue with either one. When on the highway I got around 42-45 mpg with the A/C off. No leaks at all. Never have to add any liquids between services. Never had any issues with the engine. Changed the oil EVERY 3000 miles even when it was on the highway. Transmission oil was dumped when new to replace the ATF oil to 90W trans oil to reduce trans/bearing wear. I also never had any issues with the transmission because I used normal 90W oil, not the THIN ATF oil. Transmission and oil have been chanced out three times total now, rear axle twice. It shifts and drives as it was brand new. Gearbox is great, clutch is great! Engine is strong as if new. Tires are in great shape, 90%. Tailgate is damaged. It opens and closes "okay". what I mean by that at times you may have to tug just a little harder for it to open. Really needs to be replaced. I'm just having a hard time to find a NEW one. The Seat has been redone when truck was painted. The seat does have a tear in the middle and on lower left side. Windows are tented to law specs. About the wreck, I have hit two deer in the left front. Had to replace left front fender, grill and bumper. So no major damage. Hood and all cooling coils are still untouched. So nothing happened to the chassis. I have a maintenance book which shows everything I have done since new. Have an extra oil filter and a solid white bed cover with no side widows (Not pictured). I took it off when I installed the liner bed and rails.Truck has ALWAYS been garaged as it shows. The truck came in an ugly tan color. After years I painted it red and white which looks great. I took the bed off for painting. I did paint the door jambs and under hood.Truck still has a factory radio in it which works but sounds like as if you were stuck in 1930's. Really needs to be replaced!Am willing to sell it as a buy it now. If you are local you are more than welcome to see the truck and test drive it. Goes with a full tank of fuel.I can deliver to meet half way or all the way up to 500 miles @ $.75per mile. (if you are $250 miles away total cost is $375 for transport. 500 miles away at $750 plus one night stay at motel 6 @ $50... total $800). Must be paid before I deliver. No lean, I paid truck off in full when bought. Never had any loans or anything. So I have no idea what the issue is? I can assure you that all is well and solid! Title is in my name and with my current address, in hand. Just has been off the road for a few years now so no tag has been on it for quite some time. Maybe that has something to do with it??
