1935 SOS model E Superb, with water-cooled Villiers motor. Very original and scarce British pre-war bike. Solid - holds fuel and water well. I had this bike starting and running for me last year, then drained the coolant and fuel and put it away, although I always intended to fiddle with it a bit more - just too many projects. The architecture of this is very special, from the valenced fenders and legguards to the dual side-pipe exhaust. It has a speedometer and lights, often not seen on this vintage. I had the lights working, but the electric horn not. The bulb horn shown is a Lucas that is borrowed. The successful bidder will have to make a side deal for it. SOS, which stands for Super Onslow Special, was a high quality, low production marque. They are not often seen, even in the UK, where they generate great interest when offered. If needed, parts for the motor are easy to get from the UK. Bill-of-sale only; it was in a collection for years. I have some copies of original information for this motorcycle model and a set of tank rubbers bearing the SOS logo. Offered as a collector item with no guarantees. The storage room is needed.
