1998 Triumph Speed Triple

2nd generation S3 with 885cc replaced the battery on Saturday April 16th 2011. Things done to the bike from 6500 mi until now: -New front fork seals @ 6500 mi -New front sprocket seal @ 8000 mi -New rear Pilot Power 2ct @ 9500 mi (front tire still has over 50% tread life) -Radiator flush @ 9000 mi Future maintenance: -12000 mi service (they will check for valve clearance tolerance) -Brake pads have about 40% remaining -The synthetic oil change is not scheduled until another 2k miles but I would change it sooner than later and probably take the bike in at 13-14k for the main valve adjustment service. The original owner rode it for a couple years and left it in his garage covered for 6+ yrs. His brother rescued it, logged a few thousand miles and then traded it into RPM Cycle for an 05' S3. Boris at RPM said they did the 6500 mi service on it before I bought it in 09'. You will not believe the condition it's in for a 13 yr old bike... the fairings in immaculate cond't and it runs very well... engine torque is excellent. Will sell with Matte Black Helmet, Joe rocket Jacket, Gloves, Battery Tender, a clear Title the User manual, and the original Triumph Toolkit Bike is in perfect condition let me know if you would like more pictures or would like to see it in person. Reason for selling: Fiance, parents of Fiance, and my Parents won't leave me alone about getting rid of it. Their scared I'm going to get hurt. So to honor their wishes I'm selling.
