I am selling my 58 sport coupe.This car runs and drives nice,I have owned it for a long while, it does need to be restored,I have been driving her 3 to 4 times a week to keep everything lubed up.It drives straight down the road with no problems.The only rust I could find is on bottom of the trunk on the left side , it is a place about 1/4" wide and maybe about 18 " long, witch would be a easy fix,it seems to have all original body parts,all chrome is original and all there except the passenger crank handle for the vent wing. as far as I know I am the third owner of this 58 sport coupe.I know I keep saying sport coupe,reason being it is the same year I was born,it has a new set of BF Goodrich tires all the way around with some pretty nice chrome wheels that are newer also. I have put a new gas tank and new sending unit in the tank,the tank is powder coated inside and out,it has a new battery as well , I also put a brand new polished aliumn radiator in,as you can see in the pictures. The speedometer shows 100,516 miles I don't know if it is original miles or not.It does have the 348 Ci motor with a 4 barrel carb.This car was redone back in the late 70s.Like I said this car needs to be restored inside and out,but it is a nice driver every where I go in this 58 sport coupe it turns a lot of heads that is for sure,like a lot of younger generation that has not ever seen one of these cars before,just a couple days ago I was fixing to pull out of the gas station and a 20 to 30 year old guy was pulling in and hollered nice car dude what is that, I told him what it was a 1958 sport coupe,he then replied by saying who makes them,I told him Chevrolet made them,but not anymore. Well enough of that,I am looking for someone that has the time and money to fix her up proper,as I don't have neither the time or money,so I am going to let her go to the highest bidder that meets the reserve price,and I feel the reserve that I have is more than a fair price for this one,and for the shape she is in.This car has been kept in my garage ever since I have owned it,I drive only on good sunny days. PS it is missing the impala logo on the passenger side.I have 2 new ones and some new light kit for the back of the car that will be coming with the car.Oh I also have a new emblem for the front of the hood also. I do not have the trunk v or emblem,the trunk button is mounted under the dash.One more thing before I forget it was a original three speed on the column,but is now a three speed on the floor.Like I said I have described this 58 as honest as possible,as I would expect the same in return.again thanks Dan
