This is a dream for most men!! Here we have a 1971 Corvette convertible ready for restoration. It is a 4 speed car and transmission in the car is a 4 speed. The engine was removed 15 years ago and is not with the car. It needs complete restoration and will be a beautiful car again. The car is factory 350ci, 4 speed, NO AC, no ps, no pb, The top is missing as well as the boot cover. The nose was damaged like most corvettes and it was modified back in 1985. The headlights were moved under the bumper. Every part needed for this car is easily bought online and on ebay! All I have is pictured here. It has a clear title and it can easily be loaded on a car trailer. A lot of parts are missing, come see for yourself. Just to be clear, it needs restoration, body work, interior, drivetrain etc. This is a very desirable car. 4 speed convertible corvettes are the most collectible cars ever! It can be seen all week. I have not seen any signs of rust holes, but I will not say the frame is rust free, just that I havent seen any holes. The gas tank is in the car. The transmission and bellhousing is in the car. The radiator is in the car. The rear end is there and the suspension seems stock. There are no other parts other than whats pictured. The tires and rims are just for rolling it around, they are not roadworthy. The speedometer and tach are still in the dash. Under the hood appears engine was lifted out and as far as I know, another engine can be dropped in and it could be driven under its own power. I have a rebuilt 396 big block ready for this car for an extra $3000. It is not included in the price. This factory 4 speed convertible even in its current condition is a desirable classic Corvette that is worthy of a restoration. It is listed locally and Im getting calls on it at $6500 as it sits. I reserve the right to cancel this auction due to a local sale. I feel that the car needs a front clip but a good body man could fix this one. The nose was damaged and it has been modified, but it is not correct for this car and it needs repair. Please bid on what you see, do not assume it is better than it looks. It needs total restoration. I have a black drivers door panel thats included in the auction. I paid $100 for it. My plan for the car was simple....... Triple black with a big block and sidepipes, ralleye wheels and redline tires. It would be a show stopper.
