Up for auction is my 1984 VW Rabbit L. This is one of the cleanest old rabbits you will find, regardless of what your opinion is. I can definitely show you one that is not clean if you doubt mine! THE CAR IS 27 YEARS OLD!, so therefore it is not perfect! I do have this car for sale locally so auction can end at anytime. The vehicle will be sold AS IS NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Due to the high number of people trying to talk me down, and one person that actually threatened to shoot me over the car, please dont waste your time or mine! If you come to look at the car and its not what you expect, MOVE ON! I'm not forcing you to buy the car unless you won the auction. Also if you win the the auction, you will be responsible for the amount the auction ended at. Okay now that I got that out of the way, heres the details on the car! It has the 1.7L GAS engine, not the diesel engine. These rabbits were popular for having the diesel engine in them. The car does not have any power options at all. These were made for economy, not luxury! The radio was an option in these cars. This one does have an aftermarket cd player installed. I am a certified VW technician, who works for Westside VW in St. Louis Park, MN. so I do know quite bit about them. I have all credentials showing my certifications plus all service records can be made available upon request. The gas mileage of this car is awesome. It gets around 40 mpg. I have proof of this too by the way, just in case you wonder about it. This car has the CIS injection system. CIS stands for Continuous Injection System. For those of you that dont know about them, that means the injectors or poppet valves are always on! The car runs really well with absolutely no noise or smoke. The body does have a couple of rust spots forming on the bottom of the windshield. This car is all original except for the paint, which was redone a few years ago. The car runs and drives just fine. Please do not bid on this if you're thinking your buying an exotic supercar! It is almost an antique vehicle! this car will be around for along time if it gets taken care.
