You are bidding on a 92 GTI MKII that was converted to a Vr6 (or VRsick as I call it). It has the MK3 wide suspension all the way around with Neuspeed Race Springs and Bilstein Sport Shocks and Struts that make the car look incredible (has a wide stance). It has solid front engine mount and polly bushings on all the control arms. Has a German SS exhaust, MOMO steering wheel, cross hair lights, Recaro interior (in great condition), JVC stereo, the 5 lug nut conversion from the MK3, Crossdrilled brakes with the rear disc conversion and rear strut tower brace too and 3M Window tint and listed to this original factory power windows. The car is in excellent condition and runs like a champ. The listing shows 167,000 miles which is what the current odometer has but does not represent the true mileage which is unknown. This vehicle was originally a 2.0L 16v but the Vr6 is just a different experience in this little car. A lot of money has been invested in this monster to make as good as it is. It has the MK3 5 speed transmission and MK3 gauge cluster with working (sometimes) clock, transm temp, avg MPG ,etc. The paint is all original ( Montana Green I believe) which is very hard to find. This is a real head turner and brings a lot of attention when I take it to car meets and even more when the vehicle is running as the exhaust note is awesome. You will not be dissapointed. Also, the vehicle has the A/C delete as most VR6 swaps but it took a pic of all the A/C components I have in case you want to install it. It includes most everything but there may be some stuff missing (I'm just throwing all those parts in along with a box full of parts replaced some new and some used). This is the last year they made the MK2 and in my opinion it is the best looking GTI ever. Some of the areas that need attention are a zagging ceiling, some spots in the hatch were fixed and need to be painted. The speedometer, tachometer and trip computer work sometimes only. There may be a bad connection somewhere but haven't had it checked, the hood shows to have some greener lines (see pics) and that's all I can really thing of. Last preventive maintenance I did to it is I replaced the serpentine belt and water pump. Mechanic said no timing belt. Seems this VR has dual timming chains so no need to replace it but check with your mechanic. I hate to get rid of it but I have too many cars and I need to get rid of most of them.
