Vehicle Detail

1977 International Scout SSII 304 v8 Automatic Transmisstion 727 Dana 44 Front & Rear Dana 20 Transfer Case New 31x10.5x15 BFG Tires This Scout would be #33 on the list of SSII's on the official registry. http://home.comcast.net/~p_decker123/IHSSII/pagehtml/SSIISerialList.html Their were a total of 3968 Scout SSII's built over a span of just a few years. In 1977, 783 were built. Who knows how many actually remain but I'm sure it's less then half?? This Scout retains it's original paint, wheel flares, front grill, bumpers/tow hooks, original door inserts, dash covers, factory spare tire and wheel, and all hardware for the soft top. I had to replace the top and doorskins, and had the wheels powder coated. The seats had to be reupholstered(awful color, sorry) The rear of the Scout has Line-X on it due to the fact that the paint was all scratched up and this was our best alternative. I also have had all fluids replaced and everything looked over. I resealed the engine a month ago due to a couple of oil leaks. The undercarriage is absolutely excellent. This scout is rock solid with no rust issues. Own a piece of history with this Scout. Thanks for looking. 785-633-9336 with questions. On Jun-22-11 at 09:15:52 PDT, seller added the following information: The top is a Kayline top that we bought from a gentlemen who had it new in the box for a lot of years. Also, there have been several questions about the condition of the original paint and decals. The paint is very good for original but it does have a few scratches and a couple of small dings. The decals have some wear to them but they still look great. Thanks
