It's getting harder to find good, clean low mileage 964 C2 5 speed coupes. This one is finished in the classic guards red over black leather. Exterior Condition: The exterior is VERY straight and free from door dings. All of the paint appears original with the exception of the lower front valance. The paint looks great and only has minor nicks and chips as you would expect with a well preserved 80k mile vehicle. There are some small rust bubbles at the typical lower front passengers side windshield area. I took a close up picture for all to see. This is common and an easy fix. I have purchased a new windshield gasket that will go with the car if the next owner chooses to have this fixed. Interior: The black leather interior is in excellent condition. Even the driver's side bolster is in very good condition. The headliner looks like new and the dash and door panels are very nice as well. The car has an aftermarket radio but I do have the original blaupunkt radio. Wheels/Tires/Brakes: As you can see the car currently has Cup II chrome 17" wheels on it. They are original Porsche wheels and not reproductions. The tires are brand new Goodyear Eagle GTs. I also have the original 16" D90 wheels with very good Bridgestone Potenzas that will go with the car. I installed new drilled/slotted rear rotors with new brake pads and sensors. The front brakes are stock and still have plenty of pad life remaining. Mechanicals: The cars runs very well and performs great. It has no abnormal vibrations, pulls, etc. I can email a copy of the PPI I had performed when I purchased the car ~1 year ago. It passed the PPI well considering it is a 20+ year old car with ~80k miles. I have only driven it ~1,500 miles or so. It is only a weekend car for me that I don't drive often enough to justify keeping. I've had the car serviced at Cape Auto in Orange County, CA. When I had the PPI done it revealed a slight drip from the fittings at the front oil cooler, which is very minimal and I haven't fixed and a missing lower engine cover, which I haven't replaced. The dynamic compression check was good and the only mechanical note was the clutch was described as "vague." I think the clutch feels heavy and would pencil in a new clutch down the road but it shifts just fine as is. The AC blows but not very cold, could use a good recharge. All the guages work properly as do the lights, sunroof, etc. Contact me with any questions before bidding. This is a no reserve auction...high bidder wins!
