2000, Isuzu Rodeo LSE, 4x4, Automatic, white, second engine, new radiator, new thermostat, runs well, sun roof, power windows, alloy wheels, cruise control, Alpine Audio/DVD/Navigation system, $3000 call Chris to test drive in Dekalb 309-313-5054 Since I bought this Isuzu I have only driven it a few thousand miles because I have a car that I drive most of the time. After noticing the fins on the radiator were corroded I put a brand new radiator in and had a mechanic install a brand new thermostat as well. This suv runs very well. I bought it because I wanted a 4x4 for the winter but am now moving to a warmer climate. The are a few relatively minor issues with this vehicle which are most just a matter of inconvenience. There is a slow drain on the battery and I haven't figured out the source of this. The battery is relatively new and definitely not the culprit. Anyway if it just sits for a few days it may need a jumpstart. To get around this I installed a terminal disconnect on the + battery post, allowing you to easily disconnect it at the end of the day/drive. Also after shifting the vehicle into park then trying to shift back into neutral the shifter will get stuck in park. I had a mechanic look at this and he explained it was from a bad electronic shifting mechanism. To get around it all you have to do is... before starting the vehicle put the key in the ON position -- then suddenly the shifter works like a charm so shift into neutral then start the vehicle and you're off. Like I said -- they are just slight inconveniences costing you a few seconds per day. Big deal right? Actually I have grown to like it. It's like a natural anti-theft device. Plus as you can check this vehicle is priced considerably under Kelley Blue Book value. Please ask me if you have any questions.
