Maintenance; As this is a new-car trade, no service records come in the glovebox due to store's 'privacy policy'. Take the ViN to your local Volvo store's Serv. Mgr. to run on his national service data base for history. Winter package includes the headlamp wiper feature that rarely works on this model. No mechanical repairs were noted from the test-drive. An undercar inspection-available at a local Volvo specialist shop. He recommends budgeting $50-100 per model year of age, towards service on any used car. Any maintenance/repairs available thru my local tech before delivery at wholesale pricing; buyer agrees to hire his own afterwards without exception. Fixits; Sides and tops may have usual light clearcoat scratches attendant with a vehicle of the era. Few dings, dent on lower RF door(should push-out from inside), missing vinyl trim on roof -rack slots. No rust problems, exptional overall.

My local third-party tech available to measure pad and rotor depth and under-car items, plus oil change, filter and fluid top-off as a 'pre-trip' inspection for $79. Some states like Georgia and Arizona have no state inspection for emissions or safety, and others like California are rigorous. Therefore, plan to have your tech prepare for your individual state's inspection criteria.
Title info; All cars bought through our local auction have had an internal 'carchek' report performed. This checks for mileage history verification and for previous title brands such as flood, prior theft or reconstruction. Because of the age of car this (and the 6 digit odo style car must be sold as TMU-that is 'true mileage unknown'. Assume it has over 100k, just to be safe.
