2002 Honda Rebel

This Rebel ran great when we purchased it four years ago. Since then, we've only put about 200 miles on it. My wife bought it to ride with me, but prefers to actually ride with me on my bike, so it's been sitting in the garage. It looks great and it's in great shape as far as the tires, breaks, chain, etc. Two issues however, it is missing one of the silver hand grip end caps. This is solely cosmetic of course and does not affect the functionability of the motorcycle. Second, the battery had to be charged to start the bike because it has been sitting for so long, and I believe it will need to be driven quite a bit to get it (the battery - not the engine) back to normal. The battery may even need to be replaced, but I don't think so. To the best of my knowledge, this bike was bought new and kept by the same person who later upgraded and sold the bike to my wife. They took great care of it, and we have done very little with it. I started out with a Rebel 450 years ago, and it was the best motorcycle I ever owned. I hate to get rid of this 250, but it simply isn't being used. This is a great bike for people who want something light and easy to handle or for someone just starting out on motorcycles. It's not worth enough to pay for it to be shipped, so you will want to drive it home or haul it on a trailer. If you wish to have it shipped, you can of course, but it appears that the cost would be around $500.00 even if it's just going across a couple states. So you may want to buy it if you are local. The weather is right and this bike has a full life ahead of it! So good luck bidding! You wont be disappointed!
