Vehicle Detail

1973 Duster body, 25-1C chassis certified/stickered to 8.50. With new updates it could certify to 7.50. This is NOT a back half car, this is a full mild steel chassis built by Grashel Fabrication in Columbus Ohio. It has mostly been used on the street but is perfectly capable in competition. It is docile at the track with no bad tendencies and is almost hands off even through the first 300' even on some of the most notoriously greasy track conditions. Through the mufflers (Super 10s) it is capable of 1.3 60' times and VERY consistent 9.40 ET's. It could be a bit faster with a converter and carb change but I didn't want to lose its street driveability as it is now. I never have any concerns or issues in taking off to cruise-ins or street events and driving it wherever it needed to go. It is just as docile on the street as it is at the track. Car has a full set of gauges including tach, odometer, fuel level, voltage, trans and oil temp. Body is clean with only minor nicks here and there from rocks/road rash. Paint is PPG base/clear. The only mud is in the rear quarters since we had to stretch them for the tire size. There is enough clearance to pull the wheels without removing the coilovers. All steel body and deck lid with a fiberglass hinged, non-sprung hood. Working headlights, taillights, turn signals, horn, but no wipers. Car weight is 3200lbs. The engine has in our best estimation around 150 passes on it at the track and approximately 1500 miles of street driving according to the odometer. If the BBC is not your choice of powerplants then you can easily set in whatever you'd like as this chassis is set to take a front and mid plate of your choice. I spared little expense when building this car and as you well know have probably 3x invested as to what it will sell for. Unfortunately, the troubled economic times have hit home and I must let it go. Complete build pictures from start to finish are available on my Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.101652479862958.3559.100000546202992&l=b47dd892e0 and I have literally, hundreds of other pictures that can be sent by request. ** Car is being listed locally too therefore I reserve the right to end the auction early if the vehicle sells before auction end.**
