Up for bid is a Black 1996 Lexus SC 400 with tan leather interior. The car is in very decent shape for its age. The paint shines well with no clear coat peel. The motor runs as good as the day it was made. Has lots of power and the transmission shifts perfect. The oil was changed ever 4000 miles with the best Mobile 1 oil offered. I am the second owner of the car and have owned the car about 6 years. The only problem I have had in that time was the steering rack which I had replaced. Other than that only regular things to maintain it. Ive enjoyed this car the whole time ive owned it and never got tired of it. A few things need attention like the seats have some rips and stiching separated in some spots. The check engine lights are on. Could be a sensor but I never got that checked out because it didnt affect performance. Theres a small leak in the exhaust that you can hear sometimes. The mechanic said $75 to fix. Back tires are fine but the fronts need replacing. Has crack in the windshield but its low enough not to affect vision. Brakes need attention but I also didn’t get them checked because im not hard on brakess and they do work. I drove the car a whole year with all those issues and was fine. In the 6 years or so that ive owned the car it never left me anywhere. It ALWAYS started and ran EXCELLENT! The car is very dirty in the pics.
