Restorationist's dream! This 1964 Mercury Comet, 4-door sedan is a fantastic find! Straight-six engine with one-barrel carburetor. Runs and drives! The dashboard is pristine, with all gauges, knobs and chrome intact. Includes original radio. Interior is in good shape, but due to being white vinyl, needs some serious cleaning. Doorpanels intact but may or may not clean up well. Interior handles and knobs all present, exterior as well. Chrome on exterior in fair shape, has what we think are the original hubcaps. Needs new paint as the exterior has seen a lot of weather. Mostly surface rust only. Has a new fuel pump and filter. Front floor panel on driver's side needs to be replaced due to rust issues. Rear quarter panels need attention, as seen in photographs. Needs brake work as the brakes will not pump up at this time. Low reserve. A must have project car!
