Thank you for taking the time to look at my 2006 BMW M5 with only 48,433 miles on it. To start out, I want to say that I love this car. The way it drives, the handling, the ammenities - there really is nothing else like this on the road - especially when you factor in what you can buy this car for! I am selling it below book because I have ordered it's replacement and I need it to sell. There is nothing wrong with the car other than I have decided to buy something else. It has been a very enjoyable car to own, but I like to change cars and the time is right to let somebody else enjoy the car as much as I have. The car was ordered new by a doctor and leased until August of '09 when I purchased the car. I have been babying the car since. It was never driven in the snow and salt by me, just covered in a heated garage for the winter. I have never used or even tried the launch control, and from what I have heard about the previous owner, neither did he. The car has heated and cooled active front seats (the bolsters push against you in the corners, keeping you upright in the seats!) Both front seats are multi-contour and power with memory settings on each. The rear seats are heated as well. Other equipment includes Comfort Access system, full shades for the rear windows, CD Changer, Sirius SAT Radio, Full brushed Aluminum/Stainless trim (no wood), SMG 7 speed transmission with paddle shifts and automatic (Lots of fun to drive), Logic 7 sound, Navigation, sunroof, Alcantera Suede headliner and pillars (every surface not steel is covered in leather...everything), park distance control front and rear, heads up display, front and rear side airbags as well as a head curtain airbag...the only feature NOT on this car is a heated steering wheel, which was not available at the time the car was ordered. The tires are at least 95% as well as the brakes. Oil was changed under 700 miles ago. No cracks in the windshield or problems with any controls/features of the car. I have never tracked this car or driven it very hard other than spirited romps up and down an on ramp from time to time. I was told that the previous owner never drove the car hard as well, that he was just a BMW lover who enjoyed the high end cars they offer. This car was replaced by an '09 760li when the original owner traded it in. There are a few rock chips in the paint on the nose and tip of the hood. I see nowhere that the car was ever repainted. The wheels are straight and rash free. There are some scuffs on the front of the nose UNDER the car which are only visible from UNDERNEATH the car. To my knowledge, the car has NEVER been smoked in. Car has no leaks, noises, or issues to speak of. Ready to go. This car has ALWAYS been DEALER MAINTAINED and should still qualify for the maintenance package through BMW since it is still under CPO Warranty. Contact your local dealer with the VIN in this listing to ensure you can add on the maintenance program through BMW. It is worth it if you intend to drive the car a lot. Miles will change as I am still driving the car. If you buy the car, the car will be parked in a heated garage after it is fueled up and washed and waxed. If the car does NOT live up to how I have described it in ANY way, you are free to walk away without recourse from me/ negative feedback. This car is straight and clean and an absolute blast to drive. You will not be disappointed. BMW launched this car in 2006 here in the US...it took until 2009 for the World to reply. This car still holds it own with the best cars in the world, some of which cost over three times what I am asking for this car. This is the lowest priced clear titled M5 on Ebay right now for no other reason than I am changing cars and want to give somebody else the opportunity to own this car at a great price before the dealer gets it and marks it up. The car is box stock and ready to go.On Jun-23-11 at 05:38:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Last night I was asked to post photos of the seat wings to show the wear on the seats from entering and exiting the car. I added those photos so that you can see that the seats are like new. Both bolsters show zero wear, and the piping edge on the seat is perfect. I am constantly wiping the seats down and treating the leather so that they stay supple and scuff free. The shot of the dash is above the cupholder on the leather above the stainless steel trim, and if you look VERY HARD you will see two spots on the leather that I have never really tried to get out as I did not want to hurt the leather. They are barely noticable and they can only be seen if you are looking for them. It was a gray morning here in Iowa and I was still loving the reflection in the trunklid. I simply love BMW paint. Deep and relatively flat so that it shines beautifully. Come on folks - this is a CLEAR TITLE, UNMOLESTED, UNDER WARRANTY until June 8, 2012 or 100,000 miles on it BMW M5 with every option. My reserve is a steal on this car. Go to a dealer and you are going to be looking at a $40,000 + car!
