This is a 1948 dodge i believe b1 series pickup. I got this truck earlier this year and have lost the garage i had it in to work on it. the truck is in GREAT shape for a 63 year old truck and the perfect restoration project. it has been restored before some years back and is set up for a small block chevy motor . the motor that is in it sat for a long time and got water in the cylinders and froze the block up. the transmission i was told was rebuilt before it was parked dont know how many miles are on it but the fluid is red as can be and the tranny is clean. there is VERY little rust on this truck. only rust through i could find is on the passenger side floor and it is about the size of a dollar. the front and rear windows are in good shape but will need new seals. the door glass is missing but its flat glass so it is cheap to replace. it has 14 inch slotted mags on it and the back 2 tires are new. i never got around to replacing the front ones. between work and getting married soon i just dont have the time that i want to give to the truck and i lost the shop i had to work on it so it is up for sale. the truck is located in topeka kansas. i do have a clean and clear title for it but i dont have any keys. when i bought the truck i didnt get them. it has been converted over to 12 volt system but im sure it will need a painless wiring kit for it as the wiring in it is pretty old. other than that it is what it is a GREAT project that would look sweet when its done. any questions feel free to email me. thanks for lookingOn Jun-12-11 at 07:19:09 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been getting alot of emails from people asking if the tires hold air because if they dont the shipping company they are using will not ship the truck. the back 2 tires are new . the front ones will need replaced if you want them to hold air for more than 5-6 hours. I accept cash payment or paypal to release the truck right away. If your going to pay with a cashiers check or money order, i will need 2 weeks after i recieve paymet for it to clear the bank. I have recieved a money order in the past that was fake and lost a good amount of money over the deal. im not saying that your not honest but lets face the facts i dont know you and you dont know me. SO. if you are NOT going to be picking it up in person with cash in hand and are hiring a shipping company to haul it for you then expect some delays with the release of the truck. as soon as i get whatever form of money deposited in the bank it will start to go through the process and the bank will call me as soon as it clears and then i will call you or email you and let you know that we are good to go.
