Here is an exceptionally sharp 1965 Mustang Convertible that is a one owner, black plate California car that was built in District 72 which was San Jose, CA and has spent its' entire life there and later, sunny and dry Arizona and it shows! The body rust free and it has been in the hands of only 1 owner its' entire life and it hasn't been abused or molested in any way. This is a #'s matching 289ci C-code car and an original Poppy Red car with a black interior. It runs and drives great and is a very solid, original driver with only 97K original miles. There are no other repairs or patches of any kind and no attempts to hide or cover anything up. The floor pans are original and rock solid as are the torque boxes and the underside is untouched original, so what you see is what you've got! All the other sheet metal appears to be original to this car with no rust issues and there is no evidence of any other accident history. Otherwise, the body is super straight and all the gaps are even and factory original and it really is a sharp, southern body! The paint job is an older but respectable, driver quality paint job that looks great cruising down the street and the car would eventually benefit from a gorgeous new paint finish! It still has it's original and unique color combination of Poppy Red with a black interior complimented by a black convertible top and it looks great as my photos show! This is definitely a classic Mustang that can be driven and enjoyed just as it is! The chrome is, for the most part, either new or very nice, original. The windshield and side glass is all in good condition and the black convertible top looks great! The interior is very nice, it still looks great! It was done in it's original black color with Blue dash pad. The carpets and seat covers are all new. The dash pad is new and the gauges are clean and bright. All the gauges appear to work as they should as well as the tachometer, wipers and horn. The radio and heater fan do not work. All the running lights are in good working order. This is an exceptionally sharp, driver quality interior! Mechanically, this little Mustang appears to be in very good condition. I don't know much about the mechanical history but it does run strong and smooth. The transmission shifts as it should and the front suspension is nice and tight. The tires are like new and the brakes stop as they should. It is in good general condition and is a nice running and driving Mustang. The engine compartment is clean and nicely detailed. Mustangs are some of the fastest appreciating and most desirable and sought after collector cars in the market today and now you can own a nice example that is ready for cruising or show!
