1989 HONDA CR125R motocross bike in Excellent Condition This bike started out as a low hour bike, frame was stripped and sand blasted, powder coated correct Honda red for a 89 CR also the swingarm was powder coated black. All bearing and seals were replace with new: steering stem, linkage and swingarm. Motor was totally rebuild by a certified motorcycle mechanic, all bearings, seals and any parts the showed any wear were replaced with new. Top End was ported by Eric Gorr, including power valve modifications and the cylinder was replated to make it better than new, add in new Wisco piston and rings, wrist pin and bearing. The motor now has a wider powerband and with more useable power. Other motor modifications inlude: G Force Reed block, i-booster spark plug amplifier, new Dyno Port coned pipe and new Pro Curcuit 905R silencer. This motor set up is designed to be solid, fast and reliable Suspension was revalved by Race Tech, all bushing, bearing and seals also replaced, fork tubes insides polished and front springs replaced and set up for 155-165lb rider A very balanced package. (cost $840) Wheels- hubs were striped and casting marks machined smooth, then anodized magnisium color for that trick factory look, new bearings and DID rims were laced with new HD stainless steel spokes by TCR in Calif. TCR is the company that builds the factory Hondas wheels. (cost $920) Custom drilled EBC front rotor and trick rear rotor with new ebc brake pads front and rear, New Pirrelli MX tires front and rear with new tubes and rim bands. New UFO Plactics with new OEM Style graphics, ( also have orginal plastic that came with the bike, in good condition) IMS Pro Series wide Footpegs and Shifter New chain blocks and guides, new radiator hoses. Radiators are in excellent straight condition with no repairs. Majority of the hardware has been replaced with polished Titanium hardware, very trick, strong and half the weight. Other new parts include: Seat cover, Sunline sprockets, Renthal chain, Sunline RC bend bars, aluminium throttle tube, ASV clutch and brake levers, Domino grips, air filter, new carb and jets, new cables, and front brake hose, Front brake master is off a later model CR, to enhanse braking performance (orginal included in the sale) This 1989 Honda CR125R was the best 125 in that year, this bike is better than new and set up sparing no expense, Everything that showed any wear was replace and any performance part or service to enhance the performance of this bike was done. It was rode once since all this work was done and it handles and performs beyond expectations. All removed parts will go with this sale (plastics, rotors, carb, front brake line, footpegs, shifter, bars and lever and perch) These older 125s are hard to find and usually beat to near death, this is a fine example of a 89 CR125 , that is super clean, trick, reliable, better handling, lighter, and has more usable power. Please do not ask what the reserve is as it is lower than all the parts I have into it. There is no Title or Certificate of Origin for this motorcycle.
