Here is a completely original 1960 Austin Healey Sprite Mk. 1 with only 59,426 original miles. The condition of this car, for a 50 year old vehicle is incredible. The car has its original paint, original interior, original engine/transmission, and even has its original window sticker and owner's manual!! The car has no rust anywhere. The car drives extremely well and still get 35 mpg on the highway. The red interior has all of its original floor coverings, and the rubber floor mats are in good condition, with the exception of the driver side mat, which has some tears. The car also has its original took kit, with the "King Dick" lug wrench, screwdriver, jack and jack wrench. The original side curtains are contained it their original bag, and there are a second pair of plexiglass side curtains that go with the car. The top is a replacement, not the original. The tonneau cover is the original to the car! While the car has some chips and dings, it is extremely solid, with no rattles or vibrations. Items that need noting: 1) First gear in the transmission makes some noise, 2) the right rear corner panel has been repaired and repainted at some time in its past, 3) there is a dent in the bonnet, a dent in front of the driver's door, and a dent on the right rear quarter. The car has a new set of Goodyear Tiempo tires (155/R80X13) along with what appears to be an original Dunlap Gold Seal tire as the spare. I've owned a Sprite in the past, and have never seen such a nice original car with all of its original components. Finally, the first owner kept many of the parts that were ever replaced on this car, and these original parts also go with the car. This car is a time capsule, and while not perfect, it is an unbelievable example of an original Austin Healey Sprite.
